|Not as good as Diane's but I like it!|
We (my tatting daughters) and I got together with Happy Bluebird (Cindy) yesterday for the first time in a few months. Oh, did we have fun! Cindy is one of the nicest people ever and it was wonderful to hear of her travels in Finland. And it's so wonderful to be able to bounce tatting ideas off another person. My older daughter started a dragon in Lizbeth Blue Ice and is he ever lovely. My younger daughter mastered rings, picots and joined her first rings together. She's quite proud but not as much as her maman! YD has almost not put her shuttle down (and I had to give her the business to shut off her light last night because she was tatting after lights out!).
We had tatting club at school last Wednesday and three diehards showed up and two others visited to see what was up. The diehards are ready to try at patterns. What suggestions do you have? No more butterflies, they're tired of those. One of the tatters is a boy and less interested in flowers and more things like lizards etc. They're not ready yet for split rings (soon) but rings and chains patterns would be great.
I bet Aunt Rose-E is smiling big, especially about my girls.
